Nicole Telkes is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Continuing Education Provider for Massage Therapists. Any class offering CE’s for LMTs will be noted. We are currently exploring other CE provider status.

Examples of Past Classes: La medicina del Puebla: Curanderismo - Carla Vargas-Frank
“Los Remedios del Pueblo” (The People’s Medicine) is an introduction to the traditional healing uses of plants and ritual from Mexico and the south-western United States.
This class will explore the social, curative, and spiritual role of the folk healer, el curandero, in Mexican and Mexican/American communities, give a basic overview of our roots in Aztec medicine and medical philosophy, learn some commonly used herbs (including their traditional preparation and applications), and introduce culturally specific ailments and healing rituals of Mexico and the American south-west.
