Andrew Herrick: Queer Herbcraft July 15

Class description:

Queer Herbcraft is an earnest attempt at creating an inclusive dialogue around Queer-centric health issues and the herbal protocols that are used to prevent or support them.  Join Andrew as we explore herbs that create safe emotional space for Queerness, herbal protocols that help combat substance misuse disorders, herbs that support initiation of hormone therapies, and herbal protocols that support antiretroviral therapy.  The topics we discuss are not just for Queer ears only.  Queer Herbcraft is an open and honest discussion about Queer health issues so that we can demystify and destigmatize them as a community.

Andrew Herrick is a  clinical herbalist and educator.  He has a passion for showing his community how healing herbs can be easily incorporated into your daily life. He lives in Austin, TX and is the owner of Wild Hearth And Home, an apothecary and health consulting business.  Andrew regularly sees clients as a clinical herbalist, teaches at the Wildflower School of Botanical Medicine, and makes intentionally crafted herbal medicines that are available online and at various retail vendors throughout Austin.  His passion for plant medicine and desire to cultivate accessible healthcare for all has led him on a quest to deliver these powerful plant allies to the hands of his community.  When Andrew isn’t teaching or making medicine, you can generally find him in the garden or dreaming of more ways he can share the magic of herbalism with others.   You can sign up for his online series called Queer Herbcraft Here for $150 during June in celebration of PRIDE month.
