Application Fee Home & Family Introductory Program



Do you have dreams of becoming a herbalist?  Join us and learn how to harvest, prepare, and use herbs for wellness and first aid.  Upon acceptance, this fess acts as a deposit towards your program.  In the case we cannot accept you or you change your mind, we will return it minus a $50 nonrefundable fee.

This FULL INTRODUCTORY program is designed for beginners or those that haven’t studied for some time.  We can accommodate busy people who only have a bit of time to dedicate, while also preparing students who are entering more in-depth Intermediate and Advanced Offerings such as the Community Herbcraft Program or Clinical Herbcraft Program. This course can be completed in 3-6 months.  Upon acceptance,  this payment is a non-refundable deposit for our Onsite Introductory Home and Family Program at the Wildflower School of Botanical Medicine and will be deducted from the total price owed.

Once you complete your interview and register($500), your space is held,  and we will contact you to help prepare you for upcoming programs. The remaining balance is due the first day of class or you may request a payment plan. All onsite students will have FULL access to our new expanded online program resources as well as onsite and live-streamed classes.

2021 Fall Schedule begins Sept 2021 every other Saturday from 10-5PM at the American Botanical Council.

  • Foundational concepts in holistic Western herbalism to take care of yourself and your family
  • Herbal First Aid for the skin, pain, immunity, digestion, beauty care, lung health, sleep, stress, detoxification and energy
  • Gain experience making herbal remedies with experienced herbalists
  • Learn about harvesting, and processing fresh and dried plant material
  • Go on plant walks to learn what grows around you and what you could grow yourself to keep yourself healthy
  • Introductions to over 90 herbs
  • This program has additional online resources to prepare you for each class.

$1495(regular registration)

$1395  30-60 days early, $1295  60+ days early-early bird.

Application fee is non-refundable upon acceptance.  This fee will be applied toward the balance of your program.  $500 additional dollars is required to hold your place in the upcoming program and the rest is due by the first day of classes.  If for some reason we cannot accept you we will refund you minus a $50 administrative fee.   This deposit will be held for up to one year and may be applied to online or onsite programs.  

COVID 19 Update:  due to the unpredictable nature of the ongoing pandemic, we reserve the right to determine if we need to move this class entirely online and we make an online live stream option with outdoor options available to our students who are not vaccinated or not comfortable with attending in person.  All incoming onsite students will be asked to show proof of vaccination to attend in the classroom in Fall due to variants amd virus resurgence.  We will be reevaluating our policy for Spring, and everyone is welcome to join us online and for outdoor gatherings with masks.

Please Check the section that work best for you. Onsite Classes are held at the American Botanical Council or a field location to see wild plants.
Please make sure to note that parts of the programs are extremely non-conventional in terms of setting. Outdoor sections may include 1mile or more walking on trails in heated conditions, and not being able to see or hear the teacher easily at times. Please let us know if you have any reasons that you may not be able to hike or able to participate in non-traditional learning settings. We want to make sure we are a good fit for your needs.
